ABSTRACT:

Optical character recognition – using a deep learning technique that describes an overview of optical character recognition, the basic steps in the optical character recognition problem. At the same time, the thesis introduces in detail the Long short term memory (LSTM) deep learning method and its application in optical character recognition. Through testing on a dataset of 10,000 license plate photos, the thesis showed that the application of the LSTM method is quite effective in optical character recognition.

KEYWORDS:
